Run STAF Demo

STAF V3.3.3 Demo

This demo gives some hands on examples of how to use and leverage the primary internal and external services in STAF. In particular, it shows the use of the following STAF services:

  • Process
  • Variable
  • Semaphore
  • Queue
  • Log
  • Monitor
  • Resource Pool

This demo is written in Java and requires Java V1.4.2 or later and STAF V3.3.3.

The Getting Started with STAF V3 document describes in detail how to setup and run the demo.

The demo is usually installed in STAF's samples/demo dirctory when you install STAF (unless you chose a minimal install or a custom install and deselected the "Samples and Demos" component). If you did not install the demo, then you can download it from here.
